Sydney, August 3, 2025 – Thousands of demonstrators gathered in central Sydney to express solidarity with the Palestinian people. The peaceful rally was organized to demand an end to the violence in Gaza and to advocate for the rights of Palestinians.
Waving Palestinian flags, holding banners, and wearing symbols of unity, protesters marched through Sydney’s major streets chanting slogans like “Free Palestine” and “Justice for Gaza.” The rally drew a diverse crowd, including members of the Muslim community, local residents, and human rights activists.
A spokesperson for the organizers stated that the event was a show of global solidarity against the ongoing atrocities in Palestine. “We cannot stay silent in the face of continuous oppression and displacement,” the spokesperson said.
New South Wales Police confirmed the event remained peaceful throughout, with law enforcement present to ensure public safety.
